2010 was a better year for Worx.  More shows, larger shows, and newer venues that caught on to what Worx is all about.  The audio sucks, but we wanted to share with you anyway....

1st Annual ALS Benefit

At Hank Aaron Stadium

Worx keyboardist "Stevo" had to attend a funeral out of town so we pulled this event off as a 3-piece.  With only 2 days before this show, we had to really circle the wagons and start learning songs we could perform and sound good as a trio.  Two rehearsals later we had 3 sets ready and the truck packed up.  All we had to do is wake up on Saturday morning and start the load in at the stadium around 7:30 a.m then start the show around 9 a.m. and pray it doesn't rain (50% chance).  Then play our 3 sets and

load out, drive back to the shed, unload the truck and go home.

People, that ain't nothing!!!!

Try living with ALS.  We just don't realize how fortunate we are to be able to walk, stand, chew, breathe or talk.  We complain about things that are so petty.   People with ALS (PALS) carry weights that are beyond what you and I could imagine.  PALS are the real stars of the show.   Get informed, get involved!

Get a clue....

Really, this was a special event to play because I had lost my dear aunt to cancer years ago, and was losing my grandmother quick to the same disease.  After this show I drove to ATL to say my goodbyes before she passed.

Special thanks to Mike Arata for the video coverage and youtube postings...

Video & Picture Submissions

Worx Vids

Send your video or pics to liveshots@worxmusic.com.  We'll post them with your credit on this page!   Because of the nature of small condenser mics in your cameras, the sound quality will be noticeably affected.  But that's ok, right?

Some VIPs...

All in all, a pretty good show.  Some rock & roll verterans from Foghat and Blue Oyster Cult took in the show as well.  It was just a little stressful losing our keyboardist, then shutting down for 2 months, then having 2 weeks to break

in a new keyboardist before this show was either going to be the kick in the ass we needed, or a disaster in the making. (Wheeeeeeeeeeeew)  < Worx w/photographer Lisa "Lady" McBride.  (rt) new keyboardist Steve Wehner.
